Like many others, Christine finds flowers intriguing, their allure fascinating, cultivation challenging, and the sheer joy of being in their presence irresistible. She is fascinated by the way they burst from dirt and soil only to return there, by their tenacity to reach for light and grow between cracks in concrete, the fact that some possess both stamens and pistils, and the countless shapes, colors, scents, and medicinal properties they exhibit. Christine hopes her work gives tribute to the natural world in an unexpected way.
